Dear Alumni, 2019 was another successful year for our Alumni Association. By our contributions to Catholic education, several Catholic Schools and students receive much-needed financial aid to continue their programs and studies. Our contributions to date exceeded $138,000. Not bad for a school that closed 45 years ago! Despite the news that Holy Angels Church will be closing, we will do everything we can to ensure that a Fallon/HACI Hall of Fame venue continues. Once a venue is announced, it will be posted on our website: www.bishopfallon.org, where news and information on all events can be found. Thank you for your continued support of our Alumni Association, Catholic Education, and mainlining the Oblate traditions. May God bless us all! Sincerely, Manny Aja ‘75 HELP US SUPPORT CATHOLIC EDUCATION The Alumni Association’s Catholic Education/Tuition Assistance program continues to need your assistance. Several schools have closed over the years and many of those still operating are in peril and in need of your continued support. The Alumni Association has strongly supported Catholic Education in Western New York since 2001. Our Alumni Association has donated over $138,000.00 in tuition assistance and needed equipment. Last year we raised $12,000.00 from our three events: the annual golf tournament, all-years’ reunion, and the Hall of Fame dinner. Together with the BISON Scholarship Fund allows us to present 4 scholarships of $1375.00 to each of the following schools: Catholic Academy of West Buffalo, Our Lady of Black Rock School, St. Joseph’s University School, and Our Lady of Victory School. In addition, direct financial assistance is provided to: Cardinal O’Hara High School, Nativity Miguel Middle School, St. Mary’s High School, St. Mary’s School of Swormville, and Chesterton Academy of Buffalo. Your continued support is needed. Remember, if you are unable to attend any event in 2020, a tax deductible donation may be made to help support Catholic Education.
