Tuition Assistance Program
It all started in 2001 when BFHS/HACI Alumni Association donated $900 to the Catholic Academy. This small stipend was the geneses for our Tuition Assistance Program. That Program has grown to the point where 37 institutions have been the recipients of over $178,400 from the Alumni Association, in the past 24 years.
In 2010, The Alumni Association partnered with the BISON Scholarship Fund whereby our contributions were complimented by a BISON contribution. The BISON contribution is based on a percentage of the amount we contribute. The resulting monies fund scholarships at institutions we identify.
The Events which generate dollars allowing us to continue the Tuition Assistance Program include our Michael P. Kirwan Memorial Golf Tournament, our All Years Reunion and our Hall of Fame Dinner. With your support of our events, we will continue this tradition for many years to come.
We have divided our contributions into two categories: Scholarships and Assistance.
